What to Expect: The Breast Lift Process

  2. Anesthesia & Surgery: The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and takes 2–3 hours.

  3. Incision & Reshaping: Dr. Stile will make one of the following incisions based on the degree of sagging:

    • Crescent: Small lift with minimal scarring (for mild sagging)

    • Donut (periareolar): Around the areola

    • Lollipop: Around the areola with a vertical incision to the breast crease

    • Anchor: Adds a horizontal crease incision for significant reshaping

  4. Tissue Tightening & Nipple Repositioning: The breast tissue is reshaped, and the nipple-areola complex is elevated for optimal aesthetics.

  5. Closure & Recovery: Incisions are closed with fine sutures and surgical tape. You'll wear a supportive garment and go home the same day.

Breast Lift Recovery & Results

Most patients return to light activity within one to two weeks and resume normal activity within four to six weeks. Swelling, tightness, and bruising are common early on, but these symptoms gradually fade.
