Description

Before and After Breast Reconstruction. A 22-year-old woman presents with left breast amastia congenital (absence of breast tissue). She has gross asymmetry of her breasts which causes her significant distress, She wants to have improved symmetry with bilateral breast implant placement. The post-op photos were taken three months post-operative. She had a quick recovery and has returned to all her normal activities. Congenital amastia breast correction with the placement of different volume implants using a dual plane technique. Moderate plus profile, smooth round cohesive gel (silicone) implants were used.
