Before and After Breast Augmentation with Lift. A 34-year-old Los Angeles woman presented to my office for evaluation. She was unhappy with the appearance of her abdomen and breasts after pregnancy. She had breast augmentation and liposuction of the abdomen in the past, but since her pregnancy, the appearance of her breasts and abdomen has changed significantly. She described her breasts as sagging significantly following her pregnancy. This patient wore a D cup but wanted to be a smaller full C to improve the proportions of her body. The "after" pictures below are one-month following standard abdominoplasty with muscle tightening (anterior rectus fascia plication), lipo sculpture of the flanks, breast augmentation and standard mastopexy. She had an uneventful recovery and returned to all her normal lifestyle activities including rigorous exercise 4 weeks following surgery. This patient's procedures included breast augmentation using a dual plane technique breast enlargement (partial submuscular) with 325cc Allergen smooth round high Profile silicone gel implants. Lipo suction of the flanks, a standard abdominoplasty with anterior rectus fascia plication for diastasis (muscle separation of the midline) repair was also performed. All procedures were performed in our fully licensed and accredited ambulatory surgery center under general anesthesia.
