The Fabulous Las Vegas Sign has long stood as a monument of sorts to the history of Las Vegas, NV. Originating in 1959, the sign was designed by iconic Visual Artist and Graphic Designer Betty Davis to be sold to Clark County, NV. Today it still stands at the same location at the median of 5200 Las Vegas Boulevard South, and as such is considered the official southern end of the Las Vegas Strip. Access to the sign is available at all times of day, though on-site staff and photographers are only available during daytime business hours.
