Do you struggle with pockets of unwanted fat that will not budge despite your efforts? These spots are ideal targets for liposuction. This procedure removes fat from your problem areas for a more sculpted figure. Recovery time should be a consideration when considering liposuction or any other aesthetic procedure.
WHAT IS LIPOSUCTION OR LIPO?
Liposuction is a fat removal surgery targeting pockets of stubborn fat. Dr. Stile removes fat using a thin cannula and a few small incisions. This procedure can be used almost anywhere on the body where people accumulate fat, including the thighs, abdomen, submental (under the chin) area, and many others. Lipo is one of the world’s most popular cosmetic procedures and is performed alone or as part of other procedures.
Dr. Stile performs several types of liposuction. The most common, tumescent liposuction, is safer and has less recovery time than traditional lipo. Tumescent liposuction begins with sterile saline injections containing a numbing agent and blood vessel constrictor. This fluid cushions the area during the procedure, prevents pain for several hours afterward, and reduces bleeding and swelling. A cannula is inserted to break up and suction out the fat.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER LIPOSUCTION
Each body needs a different amount of time to recover from liposuction. Your swelling and discomfort will feel worse during the first one to three days and begin to improve after this point. Most people feel comfortable returning to work within the first two weeks. You can start adding light activities back into your routine, and after six weeks, you can resume your usual exercise routine. Swelling in the area can last for several months after fat removal surgery, so your full results take time to appear.
Dr. Stile and his staff will make you feel like you’re family. They really care and it shows. I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck and liposuction. Dr. Stile is very talented. I couldn’t be happier results. I highly highly recommend him!

I’m a mother of 2 and I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Stiles. I had a lift with an implant. I explained to Dr. Stiles that I wanted full and perky breast, but I didn’t want them to be too large . He achieved the perfect look for me! My entire experience has been wonderful thus far. His assistant Cynthia is also amazing. She was available to address my concerns day or night. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon in Vegas. I highly recommend Dr. Stiles and his entire staff.
You can expect to wear a support garment after your procedure. This garment will support and protect the area while it heals and helps control swelling. Your results will become more visible after a few weeks when the swelling starts to resolve. Full results can take six months or more to develop. Fat cells do not grow back, so your liposuction results can last a lifetime if you maintain a consistent weight.
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR LIPOSUCTION?
Good candidates for liposuction are healthy and have reasonable expectations. The best candidates for lipo lead a healthy lifestyle but struggle with a few areas of unwanted fat. Liposuction should be considered a body sculpting procedure and should not be used for weight loss. You may not be a good candidate if you are pregnant or have certain medical conditions.
