As you get older, your body stores fat differently than it did in your younger years. This can make it more difficult for you to resolve fat in your stomach, arms, flanks, face, and neck. If you’re bothered by excess fat that you can’t seem to get rid of, liposuction or fat removal surgery may be a great option. Liposuction is a body contouring treatment that can remove excess fat from stubborn problem areas. So how does the recovery process work? Keep reading to find out.
Liposuction can be performed on various areas of your body including the abdomen, thighs, upper arms, upper back, chin, and neck. Dr. Stile can perform tumescent liposuction, power-assisted lipo, ultrasound-assisted lipo, and VASER techniques. Liposuction can be performed on its own or paired with other surgeries.
The procedure will take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours to complete. After liposuction, you can enjoy reduced or diminished fat and greater definition in your abdomen, thighs, backs, and/or arms.
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE RECOVERY PROCESS
Fortunately, scarring is minimal after liposuction. While you may face some swelling or bruising, these side effects will subside on their own and can be controlled through pain medication. If you undergo the procedure, you can likely return to work and your daily responsibilities one week after.
However, Dr. Stile will ask that you stay away from exercise and other strenuous activities for a minimum of two weeks. Most patients recover in a couple of weeks. Rest assured Dr. Stile will provide you with detailed recovery instructions.
Dr. Stile and his staff will make you feel like you’re family. They really care and it shows. I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck and liposuction. Dr. Stile is very talented. I couldn’t be happier results. I highly highly recommend him!

I’m a mother of 2 and I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Stiles. I had a lift with an implant. I explained to Dr. Stiles that I wanted full and perky breast, but I didn’t want them to be too large . He achieved the perfect look for me! My entire experience has been wonderful thus far. His assistant Cynthia is also amazing. She was available to address my concerns day or night. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon in Vegas. I highly recommend Dr. Stiles and his entire staff.
If you have excess fat in one or more areas of your body, you may benefit from liposuction. Liposuction is a particularly good choice if you’ve tried diet and exercise to resolve these stubborn areas with minimal to no success. You should be in overall good health and looking for a fat removal treatment, not a weight loss solution. If weight loss is your goal, let us know and we’ll recommend an alternative option.
