Las Vegas Microneedling

There are many options open to you when it comes to facial skin rejuvenation. For example, a facelift is an excellent cosmetic treatment to diminish the effects of aging and create tighter, more youthful-looking skin.

However, several non-surgical, minimally-invasive cosmetic techniques can treat various facial skin complaints. One of the best options offered by Dr. Frank Stile at Stile Aesthetics in Las Vegas is microneedling.

Dr. Stile is a board-certified plastic surgeon that provides many cosmetic treatments from his premier treatment center.

PURPOSE OF MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that stimulates the body to create new collagen, elastin, and skin tissue, resulting in smoother, firmer skin.

Microneedling is performed to address various facial cosmetic concerns like wrinkles and fine lines, scars (including acne scars), large pores, stretch marks, and pigmentation, among other issues.

Dr. Stile and his team of expert providers regularly conduct microneedling treatments at Stile Aesthetics. Each treatment session gets carried out on an outpatient basis.

HOW IS MICRONEEDLING DONE?

Microneedling involves using a handheld device called a Dermapen, an innovative tool that contains 12 microscopic needles on a disposable tip. It creates tiny controlled punctures to essentially break down the skin and stimulate new skin, collagen, and elastin production.

The skin microchannels created during microneedling also evenly distribute topical nutrients included in the treatment session. The process results in rejuvenated skin that boasts a smooth and refreshed appearance.

Dr. Stile also offers PRP (platelet-rich plasma) facials that can get combined with microneedling for enhanced results and to help restore lost volume naturally.

BENEFITS OF MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling treatments from Stile Aesthetics are perfect for treating minor scarring that may have occurred due to acne outbreaks, wounds, or the aging process. They’re also ideal for addressing other facial cosmetic concerns like wrinkles and large pores.

A microneedling treatment session is quick; Dr. Stile and his team can complete each procedure in approximately 30 minutes. There’s also no downtime from microneedling; all you’ll notice is slightly red skin on the treatment areas, and that goes away within one to two days.

Results of microneedling are long-lasting, with optimal results visible approximately four to six weeks after the treatment session. Some patients may need two or more sessions spaced four to six weeks apart for the best results, depending on their cosmetic concerns.

AM I A CANDIDATE FOR MICRONEEDLING TREATMENTS?

If you’re relatively healthy and have realistic cosmetic goals in mind, you could be a good candidate for microneedling treatments. The cosmetic procedure is ideal for people that wish to address various facial concerns like scarring or the effects of aging.

You should avoid microneedling if you are pregnant, have recently had radiation therapy, or have certain skin conditions like psoriasis or eczema.
