Generally, you need to replace breast implants every 10-20 years. Even before their “expiration date,” implants can change with your body, and you may feel dissatisfied with how they appear. But what is a breast revision?
WHAT IS A BREAST REVISION?
Board-certified cosmetic surgeon Dr. Frank L. Stile offers breast revision surgery to remove and replace implants. The procedure is primarily similar to breast augmentation, which Dr. Stile also performs. A new implant can improve the appearance of the breasts, along with a breast lift if the patient desires.
CAPSULOTOMIES
Sometimes, scar tissue can form around the breast implant. This is called capsular contracture, and a thickened implant capsule causes it. Breast revision can be performed with a capsulotomy, in which Dr. Stile removes the scar tissue and treats both the patient and the breast implant pocket antibiotics. He then inserts the replacement implants into the breasts.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY PROCESS LIKE?
Compared to breast augmentation surgery, breast revision has a similar recovery process. Breast revision patients will be reinformed about how to ensure their best recovery, including how to properly care for dressings.
You should expect swelling and bruising for the first couple of weeks after surgery. After breast revision surgery, patients should avoid strenuous activity but still get up as much as possible to promote blood circulation and better healing.
WHAT RESULTS WILL I SEE?
Breast revision surgery can help women feel more confident in the appearance of their breasts. After six weeks, the swelling will mostly subside, and the breasts can start to settle into their new shape and feel softer.
Dr. Stile and his staff will make you feel like you’re family. They really care and it shows. I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck and liposuction. Dr. Stile is very talented. I couldn’t be happier results. I highly highly recommend him!

I’m a mother of 2 and I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Stiles. I had a lift with an implant. I explained to Dr. Stiles that I wanted full and perky breast, but I didn’t want them to be too large . He achieved the perfect look for me! My entire experience has been wonderful thus far. His assistant Cynthia is also amazing. She was available to address my concerns day or night. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon in Vegas. I highly recommend Dr. Stiles and his entire staff.
