Microneedling Treatments Las Vegas & Spring Valley

As microneedling creates channels in the skin, it triggers the surrounding skin to increase cell turnover, bringing fresh cells to the surface. It also triggers changes deeper in the skin by causing cells called fibroblasts to increase their collagen production. As a result, microneedling can treat skin concerns, including:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Skin laxity
  • Dullness or rough texture
  • Uneven skin tone
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Sun damage
  • Enlarged pores
  • Acne scars
  • Other signs of aging

Because the changes occur from deep within your skin, you see improvements in overall texture and tone with a youthful glow. A series of microneedling treatments can result in significant improvements in issues like lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.

How Many Microneedling Treatments Will I Need?

Most people will need several microneedling sessions to achieve maximum skin rejuvenation. While most people will see results with three sessions, deep textural issues such as acne scars may require additional treatments. We will space these sessions four to six weeks apart.
While you may start to see improvements in the skin’s appearance within days of treatment, most microneedling results take time to develop. Your full results can take four to six weeks after your last session to evolve. You will notice gradual but steady improvements in your skin’s texture and firmness.

Is There Any Downtime After Microneedling Skin Rejuvenation?

Most people notice redness and sometimes minor swelling after microneedling. These effects usually fade within a day or two. Avoid using irritating products on your skin during this time. You should also avoid time out in the sun and wear sunscreen for a few days after treatment. While no downtime is required, you should contact Dr. Stile and his team if you experience any concerns.

Am I a Good Candidate for Microneedling?

While lasers use light energy that may not be safe for all skin tones, microneedling can be used on almost anyone’s skin. You must be in good health and have realistic expectations about your results. Good candidates typically want to address a range of skin concerns with minimal downtime and long-lasting results.
