WHAT IS LASER SKIN RESURFACING?

Laser skin resurfacing uses concentrated beams of light to remove damaged or aged skin layers and stimulate collagen production. This results in smoother, rejuvenated skin, effectively reducing wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation concerns.

SkinPros at Stile Aesthetics, use the Candela and Venus Viva™ technologies for skin rejuvenation. The Candela platforms and the Venus Viva™ devices use nanofractional radiofrequency energy instead of a laser to resurface the skin. Like laser resurfacing treatments, Venus Viva™ uses fractional ablation to remove damaged surface skin and heats the dermis to stimulate collagen production. HOW DO LASER TREATMENTS WORK?

Laser skin resurfacing treatments are non-invasive and typically quick and convenient. Venus Viva™ treatments at Stile Aesthetics take 30-60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Since it’s a less ablative alternative to laser treatments, Venus Viva™ involves minimal discomfort and side effects. You may feel warmth and a prickling or snapping sensation as we move the device over your skin.

The Venus Viva™ device uses patented micro-pins to create controlled micro-injuries on the surface of your skin. In response, your body clears away the top layer of dull, damaged skin cells to leave you with a healthy new complexion. At the same time, these micro-injuries allow radiofrequency energy to penetrate the dermis, stimulating collagen production. This process is similar to laser skin resurfacing but gives your provider optimal control and precision.
