Gynecomastia Las Vegas

You may not want to talk about your male breast enlargement. Although gynecomastia is very common, many men feel uncomfortable talking about it or seeking treatment. You can leave the embarrassment behind with gynecomastia surgery. This procedure will give you a flatter, more masculine chest.

WHAT IS GYNECOMASTIA?

Up to 50% of men will experience gynecomastia during their lives. Many young men see breast enlargement during puberty due to hormones, but these often go away with age. Others have enlarged breasts that do not go away, even with weight loss. These male breasts may contain fat, breast tissue, or both.

HOW DOES GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY WORK?

Most gynecomastia surgery uses a combination of liposuction and a small incision to remove both fat and breast tissue for a smoother, more masculine chest. Dr. Stile will make a small incision, often around the areola, and remove the densest mass of breast tissue. He will then use liposuction to remove excess fat and any remaining breast tissue.

HOW MUCH DOES GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY COST?

Gynecomastia surgery costs vary widely across the country. Your location and surgeon’s expertise play a large role in overall cost. Gynecomastia surgery with Dr. Stile starts at $5,800. Other costs added to this include anesthesia, compression garments, fees, and other expenses.

Our financing options put gynecomastia surgery within reach for almost anyone. The team at Stile Aesthetics wants to help you get rid of your enlarged male breasts and any self-consciousness that goes with them.

AM I A CANDIDATE FOR GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY?

If you have enlarged male breasts that make you feel self-conscious, you may be a good candidate for gynecomastia surgery. Good candidates are in good overall health and have reasonable expectations about their results. You may not make a good candidate if you have a bleeding or clotting disorder. Candidates with excessive loose skin may need an additional procedure to remove it.

WHAT IS RECOVERY LIKE FROM GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY?

You will receive a compression garment to wear at all times during the first few days of healing. Dr. Stile will recommend keeping arm movement to a minimum for the first three days. Most people can return to low-activity jobs within seven to ten days. You can usually resume light exercise within two to three weeks.

WHAT RESULTS WILL I SEE FROM GYNECOMASTIA SURGERY?

You will see a flatter, smoother chest immediately after surgery. However, you will still have some swelling that can last for up to three months. Your results may continue to develop for six to twelve months as the skin tightens to create your final chest shape.
