How Much Does a Neck Lift Cost?

Neck Lift Las Vegas

While you may think your face is the first area to show signs of aging, most people actually see these effects on the neck and hands soonest. These areas are exposed to the elements just like the face but receive much less attention. If you are experiencing sagging neck skin, visible neckbands, or submental (under the chin) fat, a neck lift may be ideal for you.

What is a Neck Lift?

The neck is a common problem area for men and women, with many people experiencing loose skin and the appearance of a “turkey neck.” Other common concerns include submental (under the chin) fat and neck bands that appear when the platysmal muscles separate and become visible through thinning skin. A neck lift tightens loose skin, corrects neck bands, and removes submental fat to get rid of a double chin.

How Much Does a Neck Lift Cost?

As with any type of aesthetic surgery, the cost of a neck lift can vary widely depending on several factors. Your overall neck lift cost will be affected by:

  • Your location
  • Your provider’s training, experience, and skill
  • The details of your procedure
  • The type of anesthesia used
  • Other expenses, such as blood work and medications

The average neck lift costs begin at $8500 (surgeons fee). We recommend a consultation with Dr. Stile so he can examine your neck and develop a treatment plan based on your needs and goals. He will provide you with an accurate estimate after determining the best way to achieve your desired results.

A neck lift is often performed in combination with a facelift since people with significant signs of aging around the neck often have sagging skin around the lower face and jowls. Combining these two procedures costs less than having them separately and can provide better overall results.

What is Recovery Like After a Neck Lift?

You can expect some swelling and discomfort after your procedure, but Dr. Stile will prescribe medication as needed to keep you comfortable. You will have a dressing over the area until your first follow-up appointment, and you will wear a support garment for several weeks to help with tightening and shape.

You may notice that your neck area feels tight after surgery. This effect usually improves within a few weeks as your skin adjusts to its new position. Some numbness may also occur but will improve over time. Most people can return to work after seven to ten days and more strenuous activities after a few more weeks.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Neck Lift?

If you are a healthy adult with concerns about loose skin, a double chin, or neck bands, a neck lift may be right for you. Good candidates for this procedure have achievable goals and understand the risks, benefits, and required recovery time. If you also have noticeable sagging around the jowls and lower face, you may also be a candidate for a facelift.
