Blepharoplasty Las Vegas

Your eyes say much about your emotional state, how alert you feel, and how you interact with those around you. However, signs of aging near the eyes can give others a different impression, making you seem overwhelmed, fatigued, or even stern or angry when you’re happy. An eyelid lift with Dr. Frank L. Stile may be exactly what you need, so everyone can tell you feel great and you’re ready for whatever life has in store for you.

HOW DOES AN EYELID LIFT WORK?

Blepharoplasty is an eyelid lift that tightens the skin of your upper or lower eyelids (or both at once). It also lifts the tissues to diminish aging, reverse drooping, smooth wrinkles, and remove or remodel fat pads that can inhibit your vision. Correction of the upper eyelid addresses “hooding,” where fatty deposits may have shifted, giving you a puffy look. Lower eyelid correction repositions fatty tissues that contribute to unwanted bags that make you look tired or stressed.

Blepharoplasty at Stile Aesthetics produces dramatic yet natural results with a relatively minimal amount of correction. Dr. Stile makes small incisions in the eye’s natural folds to keep the resultant scars well disguised. He will trim excess fat from the pads, then reposition them to a more youthful location. After that, excess skin is removed, and incisions are closed. Your eye is contoured for a natural, pleasing shape that helps you maintain a refreshed appearance. Some patients even report improved vision and less eye strain at the end of their workday without the weight of excess skin pressing their eyelids down.

AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BLEPHAROPLASTY?

Are you troubled by loose or droopy skin, bags under your eyes, sagging fat deposits, wrinkles, or undereye hollows? Blepharoplasty can help you restore youthfulness to your most important feature. The best candidates are in good health and understand what the procedure’s outcome can do for them. Dr. Stile can explain in detail what techniques will enhance your unique features.

HOW LONG IS RECOVERY FROM BLEPHAROPLASTY?

An eyelid lift has one of the most effortless recovery periods of any cosmetic procedure. Patients may have bruising and swelling around the eyes initially, which typically resolve within a few days of your procedure. Medicated eye drops and ice packs can help relieve your discomfort, dry eyes, and any irritation you experience. You will need to rest with your head elevated to keep good circulation going.

Very often, patients return to work within 1 week. It is important to protect your eyes from the sun until they are fully healed. Dr. Stile will give you detailed aftercare instructions to follow.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT WITH BLEPHAROPLASTY?

Many patients are surprised at how such subtle changes to the tissues and skin around the eyes can produce such impressive results. Blepharoplasty is one of the most effective treatments to turn back the clock on signs of aging. Your eyelids will be smoother, and the application of makeup will be easier.

Patients are often thrilled with how refreshed they look and feel, even without their morning cup of coffee. For those with under eye bags, your skin will be tighter and without the puffiness that took its toll on your appearance. For patients with severe hooding of the upper lid, your peripheral vision may be improved now that there’s less obstructing your view, and without that excess weight, you may feel less fatigued at the end of the day. Having blepharoplasty with Dr. Stile really is an eye-opening experience.
