Las Vegas Neck Lift

It’s no secret that the aging process can adversely impact a person’s facial appearance in many ways. Many people often think of things like wrinkles and fine lines when conjuring up thoughts of the aging process.

But, loose and sagging skin on the neck, jowls, and under the skin can also occur. Such aging effects can cause an unflattering ‘turkey neck’ appearance on some people. A neck lift is a type of neck rejuvenation that can enhance your facial contours.

Dr. Frank Stile of Stile Aesthetics is a board-certified plastic surgeon that performs neck lift procedures on patients from his state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, NV. On this page, you will learn more about the procedure and its associated recovery time.

NECK LIFT PROCEDURE

neck lift procedure begins with general anesthesia administered to the patient. Next, an incision gets made under the chin, in front and behind the ears. Liposuction removes fat under the chin. Then the underlying neck muscles are pulled tight and re-suspended.

Afterward, Dr. Stile will trim any excess skin, and the skin that remains will be re-draped to create a smooth appearance. Any required stitches or sutures will get placed deep within the neck muscles. The neck lift procedure takes around four hours in total.

NECK LIFT RECOVERY

After the neck lift procedure, Dr. Stile will give you specific instructions on caring for the surgical areas. You will typically be given medication to aid with the healing process, along with information on how to care for any surgical drains that collect excess blood or fluid.

Neck lift patients will commonly experience some bruising and swelling in the neck area and sensations of tightness, pulling, and numbness. It’s normal to experience those things as your neck adjusts to its new position during the neck lift recovery process.

All neck lift patients can return to their regular routines, including work, around seven to ten days after the surgical procedure.

NECK LIFT RESULTS

Patients will see immediate improvements after their neck lift procedures. However, it’s not until a few months after the surgery where they’ll see the final results, such as a tighter and more contoured neck area.

Scarring around the surgical areas will be minimal as Dr. Stile precision-closes all incisions and places them in discrete places.

BENEFITS OF A NECK LIFT

A neck lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that boasts long-term results such as a tighter and smoother neckline and a more contoured look. Patients that opt for neck lift also experience a boost in self-confidence. Neck lifts offer an excellent solution to loose and sagging skin around the neck caused by the aging process.

AM I A CANDIDATE FOR A NECK LIFT?

You can be a candidate for a neck lift if you experience loose neck skin caused by aging, weight loss, or even genetics. It’s an ideal cosmetic treatment if you desire a more natural look and seek a long-term solution. Neck lifts are ideal for patients from their late 20s to 70+.
