HOW LASER HAIR REMOVAL WORKS

Laser hair removal uses highly concentrated laser energy to destroy your hair follicles without causing harm to your surrounding skin. After each treatment, you can expect a 15 to 30% reduction in hair loss.

You can use laser hair removal to remove hair from your face, chest, arms, and bikini areaWhile laser hair removal treatments vary from patient to patient, you can likely achieve your desired results after six to eight treatments. You should space your treatments out at least four to eight weeks apart so that your hair can begin a new cycle.

Your hair type and where you’d like to remove the care will dictate the exact number of treatments your need. You’ll need more treatments if you’d like to get rid of hair on your face than someone who hopes to remove leg hair.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL IS SEMI-PERMANENT

In a perfect world, laser hair removal would be permanent. Unfortunately, this is not the case. Instead of permanent treatment, we like to refer to it as semi-permanent. Laser hair removal will prevent your hair follicles from growing for a long time period. But, your hair will grow back eventually. The good news is it’ll be thinner, finer, and fewer in number over time. You won’t be able to achieve these results with traditional treatments like waxing, tweezing, shaving, or bleaching.

GOOD CANDIDATES FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL

You may want to opt for laser hair removal treatments if you’re looking for an alternative to shaving, waxing, bleaching, or another hair removal method. However, if your hair is on the lighter side or it grows due to high testosterone levels, we do not suggest this treatment.
