Eye creams and other treatments might ward off signs of aging around the eyes for a while. However, the eyelid skin and fat pads tend to sag over time, leading to a tired, drooping appearance. Blepharoplasty can rejuvenate your eye area to help you look more alert and youthful.
WHAT IS AN EYELID LIFT OR BLEPHAROPLASTY?
An eyelid lift or blepharoplasty tightens loose eyelid skin and removes undereye puffiness. This popular procedure can restore a noticeably younger appearance with a comparatively short recovery period, and it can even restore your vision if drooping lids block your view.
Blepharoplasty can be performed on the upper or lower eyelids. It also makes a good companion to other procedures like a brow or facelift.
HOW LONG DOES BLEPHAROPLASTY LAST?
While an eyelid lift can help you look dramatically younger, it cannot stop the aging process. Each person will feel differently about their blepharoplasty results over time. Most people are happy with their results for at least 10 to 15 years. Some may choose to have another procedure in the future, while others might be happy with their original results.
HOW DOES BLEPHAROPLASTY WORK?
The details of an eyelid lift depend on which eyelids you want to improve. You can have the procedure on your upper or lower lids, or you may choose to have both at the same time.
UPPER EYELID LIFT
During this procedure, Dt. Stile will use an incision hidden in the crease of the lid to tighten the skin. He will also remove excess skin and fat to correct the appearance of drooping. The incision is closed with absorbable sutures.
LOWER EYELID LIFT
In a lower eyelid lift, Dr. Stile will usually use an incision under the lower eyelashes, although he may also use an incision inside the eyelid. He will remove excess skin and fat to correct undereye bags. If you have hollowness or dark circles, you may benefit from fillers under your eyes.

I’m a mother of 2 and I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Stiles. I had a lift with an implant. I explained to Dr. Stiles that I wanted full and perky breast, but I didn’t want them to be too large . He achieved the perfect look for me! My entire experience has been wonderful thus far. His assistant Cynthia is also amazing. She was available to address my concerns day or night. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon in Vegas. I highly recommend Dr. Stiles and his entire staff.
The cost of an eyelid lift varies depending on several factors:
Your provider’s skill and experience
Your location
The details of your procedure
The average cost of blepharoplasty is about $3,500. This price may not include anesthesia, medications, lab tests, and other expenses. We recommend a consultation so we can learn more about your goals and give you an accurate estimate.
WHAT IS RECOVERY LIKE FROM AN EYELID LIFT?
Most people have some bruising and swelling around the eyes after blepharoplasty. We will provide you with eye drops and recommend keeping your head elevated. Ice packs can also help manage any swelling. Most people can return to work within a week.
