Collagen loss occurs naturally with age, and it causes many of the changes we associate with aging skin. Microneedling triggers collagen production to restore healthy, youthful-looking skin. After just a few treatments, you will see improvements in fine lines, acne scarring, skin tone, and much more.
WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, rejuvenates the skin by triggering collagen production. This new collagen helps replace what you have lost over time, forming part of the support structure that makes the skin firm and smooth. Microneedling also causes new skin cells to rise to the surface and replace dull, damaged ones. Your skin looks brighter and even-toned as new skin cells appear.
HOW DOES MICRONEEDLING WORK?
Microneedling uses a handheld device to penetrate the skin with tiny needles that create channels into the skin. These areas of micro-damage trigger your skin’s repair process, flooding the area with healing and growth factors. Dr. Stile and his team use a microneedling device called a Dermapen that uses twelve microneedles on a single-use tip. The channels it creates allow the skin to absorb the skincare treatments applied as part of the procedure.
HOW LONG DO THE BENEFITS OF MICRONEEDLING LAST?
Most people need two or more microneedling sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, to stimulate maximum collagen production. More challenging skin concerns such as lines and acne scars may take more sessions. After these sessions, your results will last six months to a year. Dr. Stile and his team will determine the best schedule for your maintenance treatments.
WHAT CAN MICRONEEDLING TREAT?
Microneedling can improve many skin concerns related to aging, hyperpigmentation, and texture. As your results develop, you can expect to see:
Brighter, more even skin tone
Diminished acne scarring
Smoother skin with fewer wrinkles
Firmer, more resilient skin
Smaller pores
Fewer signs of sun damage
Yearly maintenance treatments will help most people keep their skin looking youthful and healthy.

I’m a mother of 2 and I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Stiles. I had a lift with an implant. I explained to Dr. Stiles that I wanted full and perky breast, but I didn’t want them to be too large . He achieved the perfect look for me! My entire experience has been wonderful thus far. His assistant Cynthia is also amazing. She was available to address my concerns day or night. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon in Vegas. I highly recommend Dr. Stiles and his entire staff.
You can resume your usual activities after your session. Your skin may look red for a day or two after treatment, and you should avoid using harsh products on it during that time. Since UV rays damage collagen, avoid sun exposure and wear sunscreen.
AM I A CANDIDATE FOR MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling does not use laser energy, so it works safely on all skin types and tones. You may be a good candidate if you want to restore more youthful-looking skin without downtime. You may not be a good candidate if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a skin infection.
