What is the difference between a breast augmentation and a breast lift? Breast augmentation can provide women with the volume, shape, and fullness they want. However, it cannot provide relief from loose skin or drooping breasts. A breast lift can restore the breasts to a natural-looking, lifted position, and it works on natural or augmented breasts.

HOW DOES A BREAST AUGMENTATION WORK?
In a breast augmentation, Dr. Stile will insert implants through a small incision hidden along the edge of the areola or the crease of the breast. You may choose between silicone implants, which include the popular “gummy bear” implants, or saline. Dr. Stile uses the dual-plane method, which places the breasts to look and feel most natural. Breast augmentation can enhance shape and volume but cannot remove loose skin or raise the breasts.
HOW DOES A BREAST LIFT WORK?
Dr. Stiles will use an incision to access the skin and breast tissue to perform a breast lift. By removing loose skin and lifting up the breast tissue, this surgery produces a properly placed and perky breast appearance. Dr. Stile will also relocate the areola as needed to make sure it looks correctly placed. However, for people who also want added breast volume, a breast lift cannot accomplish this.
Dr. Stile and his staff will make you feel like you’re family. They really care and it shows. I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck and liposuction. Dr. Stile is very talented. I couldn’t be happier results. I highly highly recommend him!

I’m a mother of 2 and I recently had a breast augmentation done by Dr. Stiles. I had a lift with an implant. I explained to Dr. Stiles that I wanted full and perky breast, but I didn’t want them to be too large . He achieved the perfect look for me! My entire experience has been wonderful thus far. His assistant Cynthia is also amazing. She was available to address my concerns day or night. If you are looking for a cosmetic surgeon in Vegas. I highly recommend Dr. Stiles and his entire staff.

CAN YOU HAVE A BREAST AUGMENTATION AND BREAST LIFT AT THE SAME TIME?
Many women opt to have a breast augmentation with a lift at the same time. Performing both procedures means that the newly augmented breasts will sit in a naturally lifted position. Without a lift, an augmentation can leave breasts with volume that sags lower than the person wanted. Without an augmentation, women who have sagging breasts due to loss of volume might find they do not have much breast tissue left to create fullness. Both procedures together can provide superior results for women who can benefit from them both.
RECOVERY AFTER A BREAST AUGMENTATION AND BREAST LIFT
You will experience some swelling and soreness for a few weeks. Dr. Stile will advise you on how to manage this and take care of yourself during recovery. You can usually get back to your regular activities about a week after your surgery, although you should not lift heavy objects for two weeks. You may experience some numbness in the breast or areola, but this will go away within a few weeks.
AM I A GOOD CANDIDATE?
Women who want breast augmentation but also have sagging skin make good candidates for breast augmentation and breast lift. You should be in overall good health and discuss any medical conditions during your consultation.
