HOW LIPOSUCTION WORKS

While Dr. Stile can perform liposuction as a standalone surgery, it’s typically combined with a Mommy Makeover or another cosmetic procedure. In most cases, Dr. Stile will opt for tumescent liposuction. Although it takes longer than laser lipo, ultrasound-assisted lip, and other techniques, it leads to exceptional results.

During tumescent liposuction, Dr Stile will take a small cannula and insert it into the targeted areas of your body through tiny incisions. The typical tumescent liposuction procedure takes about 1 to 2 hours complete. However, the number of body parts being targeted as well as how much fat is being addressed will determine the exact length.

Following liposuction, you may notice some bruising and swelling in the targeted areas. Dr. Stile cna prescribe pain medication to control this. If you have a desk job, you can return to it as well as your other other responsibilities in about a week. You should stay away from heavy lifting and vigorous physical activity for at least two weeks.

WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM LIPOSUCTION?

Liposuction is a versatile procedure because it can resolve stubborn fat in almost every part of the body. If you’re tired of eating healthy and exercising regularly only to see minimal to no improvement in your fat bulges, you’re likely a great candidate for it. You should be in reasonably good health and understand that liposuction is a body contouring treatment rather than a weight loss treatment.

So if you’d like to shed the unwanted pounds or get rid of cellulite, Dr. Stile does not recommend it. A private consultation at our office can inform you of whether liposuction is a good option for your unique aesthetic goals.
