How are Juvéderm® Fillers Performed?

Since each patient is unique, treatment plans and injection sites will vary. Dr. Stile will help each patient choose the best filler options for their needs. Some patients have multiple injectables in a “liquid facelift” for comprehensive facial rejuvenation. Our other injectables include Botox®, Radiesse®, Sculptra®, and more.

The chosen Juvéderm® fillers will be injected in areas that lack volume or have significant wrinkling. Common areas of treatment include the cheeks, lips, and nasolabial folds. The results will produce smoother, younger-looking skin that lasts up to one year.

Stile Aesthetics offers the full line of Juvéderm® dermal fillers, including:

  •  JUVÉDERM® XC: Corrects moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. Delivers results that can last up to one year.
  • JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC: Formulated for injection into the lips and perioral area to improve the appearance of the lips.
  • JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC:  Corrects age-related volume loss in the cheek area. Results can last up to two years.
  • JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC: Resolves moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (such as nasolabial folds). Results can last up to 18 months.
  • JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC: Adds subtle volume to lips and softens the appearance of vertical lip lines. Results can last up to 12 months.

The best candidates for dermal fillers:

  • Have moderate-to-deep lines between the nose and mouth (nasolabial folds).
  • Have thin lips and desire plumper lips.
  • Have age-related volume loss in cheeks.
  • Desire long-term results.
  • Desire natural-looking results.

The treatment typically takes anywhere between 30 and 45 minutes. Treatment time varies based on how many fillers the patient receives and in how many areas. Some patients may also have dermal fillers included in a treatment like HydraFacial® or AquaGold®.

The face will be dramatically improved immediately after the treatment, and most patients can expect reliable results for up to one year. Some Juvederm® fillers last longer than others. Patients can receive maintenance treatments as needed to keep their results fresh.

After the injectable, there might be slight redness in the treated area. There could also be mild swelling, but it should go away rather quickly. Since there’s no downtime associated with Juvéderm®, patients can return to their normal activities immediately.
