HOW DOES CHIN AUGMENTATION WORK?
Dr. Stile performs chin augmentation as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia. He will make a small incision either inside the mouth or under the chin and insert the chin implant. Dr. Stile’s experience with facial augmentation will allow him to choose the perfect chin implant to improve your facial features. Scars inside the mouth will not be visible, while a small scar under the chin will almost disappear.
HOW LONG IS RECOVERY FROM CHIN AUGMENTATION?
After surgery, Dr. Stiles will place bandages over the area and give you instructions on how to take care of yourself for the following few days. After the removal of the bandages after three to four days, you should continue to rest and recover. Most people go back to work and moderate activities of daily living within a week. The skin may feel tight for a few days to weeks as the body adjusts to the implant, but this will go away.

Dr. Stile is an avid illustrator, painter, and sculptor. His work adds to the decor of both his home and office. He is also the published author of two children’s books. His greatest accomplishment, second only to being a husband and father, was the establishment of the Frank L. Stile Foundation in 2011. The goal of this non-profit was to serve and support the needs of children in crisis. To date, this initiative has helped provide over TEN MILLION meals for food insecure children and their families in addition to providing resources for medical care.
